Bon Voyage!

Today, my best friend and Maid of Honor Roey starts the ultimate adventure- she and her new husband Mark are moving to China.

Yes, you read that right.

My best friend is moving to China. Today.

I'm so unbelievably excited for them, and look forward to living vicariously through them as they embark on this crazy adventure.
Ro & Mark, Wedding Day 2009

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the least bit sad that they're moving halfway across the world- since we both got married 6 months apart, I've become quite accustomed to spending fun-filled weekends with her... I feel so blessed that we were able to cram in so much time together during 2009- our bachelorette parties, birthdays, *weddings!*, and one of the best New Years Eve celebrations I could have imagined.
Words can't properly express just how much we're going to miss you both, but I'm going to let my excitement for your journey override any sadness I may have for now...

Travel safe, Roey & Mark- we love you bunches and can't wait to visit you in China!

Big xoxo,

I miss my bestie terribly and she only lives 3 hours away. I guess I shouldn't complain. Good luck to your bestie on her new adventure!

There is always Ichat.
My sister lived in mainland China for 4 1/2 yrs and then she moved to Hong Kong and then shortly after that move came back to the US for treatment of Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphom and is now living in Southern Florida.
One of my brothers went to China for a visit (before she got sick). He stayed got himself a few jobs and met a woman to whom he is now married (they married here in the US). they now have two little children (3 and 1) and they all just were in the US forthe Christmas Holidays.
My parents keep in touch with them via e-mail and iChat. It is a great way for my niece and nephew to get to know Gaga and Papa better.
I have another brother who lives in London, England and has for 10 yrs.
With 7 of us plus my parents it was bound that we would be spread out throughout the world.
