Yay for Yellow!

Happy Friday, ladies! Thank you all so very much for the good luck wishes on this morning's interview... I just don't know what I'd do without you lovely girls in my life! I never quite know how those things go until I receive the ultimate feedback, but I'm staying very optimistic. It's really the opportunity of a lifetime- I just hope that it's my time to receive such an opportunity! I'll keep you posted.

On to the yellow!!! As you now know, we've decided to go with citrus-themed colors for our outdoor garden wedding. The girls in my bridal party really are a huge ray of sunshine in my life, so it's very fitting that they'll be in shades of yellow and marigold. Lo and behold, while winding down the evening last night, I came across this article- it made my night!

Yellow: 2009's Bright Spot

Talk about a jackpot! It turns out that yellow is predicted to be THE color for 2009! The folks at Pantone are predicting that yellow will be hot, hot, hot this upcoming spring. I would have loved our wedding colors anyway, but I must say I'm digging them that much more now that I know we'll be in fashion! What a fun way to start the weekend...

xoxo,
Lulu

Hi Lulu

I'm glad you found my blog. Zwarte Walt-zen is just the cutest name!! Also thank you for the compliment on my wedding photos... it was SUCH a great day & I did feel beautiful.

I just LOVE the following wedding - take a look, it might inspire you. If I could do mine over, I would love to have done something with yellow like this couple:

Hello! Just noticed I was one your blogroll and I added you to my google reader. Hooray for yellow! It is going to be part of my wedding colors as well - a pale/rich sort of yellow along with navy blue and white.
