Ahoy ladies... No, I am not out of town on some exciting adventure... I am sitting on my couch. 20 feet from my room and laptop. I have had one of the nastiest days on record today, and am consoling myself with a fine glass of Smoking Loon (the liquor store was out of my favorite Coppola, which was the icing on the cake to my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day)... Just wanted to test out the Blackberry blogging capability before Mr. Wonderful gets home and I feed him a dinner gone terribly wrong... I'll update soon with the weekend wedding update. In the meantime- would you please comment with something *wonderful* that happened to you this weekend or today? Big or small, I'd very much like to hear it to cheer myself up. Thanks!
Xoxo,
Lulu

I am sorry you had a bad day. I Loved that Book (alexander's terrible ...) when I was little. Let's see let me tell you something wonderful...I cracked out m black cashmere turleneck for the first time today. It is still the perfect piece with everything. I will be wearing it from now til April... xo
Sorry you've had a rough day. I hope your week gets better. Do something to pamper youself. Bubble bath or a mani usually cheers me up!
Something wonderful: I got my nails painted a cherry red (can't remember the exact OPI name) today and it got me so excited about Christmas!
ummmmm I did the pee dance AGAIN at work but this time my boss saw me...awesome!!
I hope your day gets better!!!!
Lady-
I'm sorry you are having a bad day! I miss you mucho. This will make you laugh though... I have a little boy at the gym who wants to name his unborn baby Jessica after yours truly. How's that for hilarious? I also have another family who uses me for discipline at home. As in, Miss Jessie wouldn't like that attitude...
Love you!
Just realized that said his unborn baby. That would be weird. I meant his unborn baby sister.
I know you are looking to be cheered up but I want you to know that I too had a bad day and you are not alone :)
I know tomorrow will be a better day for both of us!
I hope tomorrow is better for you~!

I am sorry you had a bad day!
So sorry about the bad day!
My wonderful thing is that two years ago today, I married my husband. Aw . . .
Hey sweet girl,
My wonderful thing for you is that you are in New York. It's a tough gritty city at times, but it is also a beautiful place. You should go to the met today, and sit in one of the galleries, and just take advantage of the fact that you can. Or go to Rockefeller center and get a coffee from Dean and Delucca and watch the hustle and bustle as they prepare for the lighting of the tree, which is I'm sure up by now. I know it's tough to be job hunting, and awaiting major changes in you life. But look at this as a mini-vacation. You finally have the time to do those things you've always wanted to do in the middle of the day (like visit the Charlotte Moss Townhouse, which is about to close its doors forever).
Hang in there... It's almost Christmas in New York!
Well glad that you posted even a bitty post! I'm sorry you had a tough day! I was starting to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider to our baby and just as the rain came down he said "dunnn"! :) Hope you're having a great day today!
My highlights of the day are that 1) the campaign season is over and I can indulge in your blog whenever I darned well feel like it and not feel guilty, 2) my friend told me that, in my new jeans, I no longer look like a sausage. Sausage jeans were, to reference your later post, my Sevens from senior year of college. Sigh...
Sorry you're having a rough go of it. The sun will rise and it will be better soon.
